Your data, in plain English
ProleanTech quotes and makes parts. To do that we need your drawings, your name and a way to reach you. This page lists every field we collect, every company that sees it, how long each cookie lives, and how to get your data back or deleted.
What we collect

01 · The data itself
What we collect, field by field
If a field is not in this table, we do not collect it. We do not buy personal data, we do not enrich it from other sources, and there is no account system — so we hold no password of yours.

What we deliberately do not ask for
- Payment card or bank details — this site takes no payments.
- Government identifiers, passport or ID scans.
- Health, biometric or political data.
- Passwords — there is no login on proleantech.com.
Where the forms sit
Two pages send data to us: Get a Quote and Contact Us. Both are protected by reCAPTCHA and both post over an encrypted connection. Files you upload go to our own server, not to a public folder.
02 · Purpose
Why we hold it, and what allows us to
Three of these are the reason the service exists. The rest can be switched off without losing access to anything.

05 · Retention and location
How long we keep it, and where it sits
Cookie lifetimes above are measured facts. How long we keep business records is a policy decision, so we put the period and the reason for it next to each other — including the three rows our sales, finance and engineering teams have now confirmed.

Where your data is stored
- Site and enquiry database — a managed cloud host, on servers we administer
- Uploaded files — the same servers, in a private directory that is not web-addressable.
- Backups — encrypted backups held by our host on a rolling window.
- Email — enquiries reach our mailboxes through a relay service.
Cross-border transfer
Our offices and factories are in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, so staff there may read an enquiry you sent from Europe or North America. Transfers out of the EEA or the UK rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses, and we will provide the signed version on request.

What you can ask us to do
We apply the same rules to everyone, wherever you are. If your local law gives you more than the table below, the local law wins — tell us which one applies and we will follow it.

08 · Keeping it safe
How we protect it
Encrypted in transit
Every page and every form post runs over TLS. Uploads cannot be sent in clear text.
Private storage
Your CAD files are not listed anywhere on the public web. They are reachable only by staff working on your enquiry.
Edge protection
A cloud firewall and bot filter sit in front of the server and screen every request before it arrives.
Least access
Sales, engineering and finance see an enquiry only when their part of the job needs it.
Quality system
Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by SGS, which also governs how records are controlled.
No automated decisions
Quoting is done by people with software help. No profile of you is used to make an automated decision with legal effect.
Age
This is a business-to-business manufacturing service and it is not addressed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us an enquiry, write to info@proleantech.com and we will delete it.
09 · Changes
How this page changes
When the practice changes, this page changes the same day and the version below moves. We do not backdate edits, and we keep the previous wording available on request.

Privacy and data requests
One address for everything on this page: access, deletion, consent withdrawal, security questions and complaints. Replies come from a person, normally within two working days and never later than 30.
