Plastic Injection Molding
Plastic injection molding is engineers’ preferred mass manufacturing process for plastic parts and products.
This process can produce precise products at high production rates and low per product cost. When there’s a change in design, machine requires nothing but a new mold to start mass production which makes it flexible. It’s ideal for numerous products extending from toothbrush to medical equipment. Medical, pharmaceutical, food & beverages and windows & doors industries use plastic injection molding process.
Injection molding requires investment in sophisticated machinery and mold creation when product design changes. Production and prototype injection molding might be unfeasible for companies when they require the product in lesser quantities. Prolean’s plastic injection molding services offer an economic alternative for companies around the globe.
PRO-LEAN Injection Molding
Prolean’s expertise and capabilities help companies produce the most complex plastic injection molded parts with extraordinary precision. We offer advanced plastic injection molding services like multi-shot molding and overmolding for complex mold designs.
What is Injection Molding?
We produce parts in a broad range of volumes which perfectly suits the needs of engineers and designers taking their product into mass production as well as those looking for prototype manufacturing.
Prolean has bridge tooling and silicone prototype molding abilities for prototype production in different quantities. With our customized JIT (Just In Time) production solutions, you get quality mass production with minimum inventories when you require it.

Excellent Surface Quality
Rapid tooling, in simple terms, is a bridge between prototype production and mass production which is why it’s also called “bridge tooling.” Rapid tooling uses aluminum inserts for making the tool. When prototyping is uneconomical for the required quantity and design not stable for production tooling, rapid tooling is ideal. Engineers utilize rapid tooling for production of trial batches as well.
Prolean’s rapid tooling capabilities can reduce the lead-time to as low as 1-2 weeks while providing design flexibility and low mold costs.
Production tooling is ideal for mass production of plastic injection molded parts. Production tooling costs tend to be higher, but it offers continuous production for years which reduces the cost per product significantly.
Prolean’s production tooling services lead-time is about 3-4 weeks. Our high-precision tooling services produce accurate tools that serve for many years producing quality parts.
Overmolding produces products by combining two or more different materials. The first injected material, called substrate, usually gets covered by the subsequent material in the manufacturing process. Engineers can overmold different types of material combinations including plastic over plastic, rubber over plastic, plastic over metal and rubber over metal.
Prolean overmolding services deliver overmolded parts of all kind whether they’re for aesthetical effect or for avoiding an assembly line for a product. For quality overmolding, Prolean is the right choice.
